It all began when Executive Chef and Owner, John Manion, moved to São Paulo, Brazil, at eight years old. With his family he spent the following five years soaking in the culture and food of a place that was very far from home. “I had a culinary epiphany at a very young age being exposed to so many new things,” he says. “Since then, I’ve always really romanticized food, cooking, and travel.”
Food, cooking, and travel are what let him to Argentina. In Buenos Aires, he fell in love with the tradition of live fire cooking. Today, he brings those traditions to your plate. With the influences of Argentina, Chef John Manion calls on his 20 years of experience in Chicago to give you a ten-course tasting to remember.
